House On A Hill

This house on a grassy hill with summer clouds is an iconic symbol of the "American Dream" and a metaphor for a good life. Of course, the whole image is fictional as I pieced the house together from several photos, used the hill from a park nearby and the clouds from a shoot in Bon Air off the coast of Venezuela! Hurray for Photoshop! I was careful to craft the image to maximize cropping possibilities and provide copy space for art directors and designers in need for such.

This image is meant to convey happiness, good times, and the joys of home ownership. It is meant to propagate satisfaction and contentment. It can be used for any business to promote and advertise their products and services that help people achieve their dreams, or protect and insure that which they have earned and worked hard for. The business could be anything from the banks, mortgage lenders and financial institutions that help make home ownership possible to insurance companies that protect the home and its contents, to real estate companies that play their role in the process.

This idyllic home can be a metaphor for do it yourself projects and home improvement whether the task at hand is a new roof, new siding or paint, or landscaping and gardening projects. All the image needs is a headline and body copy...the image does the rest. This home photo is a symbol of success and achievement, but also a metaphor for the good life.
