Curves Ahead In The Cloud

This image about the challenges of "cloud computing" shows a road sign emerging from the cloudscape and showing a curvy route ahead. The clouds were photographed at 30,000 feet from the window of a jet liner, or rather some of them were. The sunset shot itself was shot at, of all places, the Pushkar camel festival in Rajasthan, India. I borrowed the street sign from a sign shop and photographed it in my studio. It was a simple matter to strip in the sign, but creating the cloud scene took a couple of hours of "playing" around using multiple layers.

The Challenges Of Cloud Computing

This photo of the challenges of cloud computing was created as a metaphor for any number of obstacles to success in online computing. The difficulties that can foil achievement over the Internet, and in particular reaching ones goals using "the cloud", range from bandwidth issues to system protocols to equipment choices. The image has been crafted to work in all crops from square to vertical to  horizontal, and in all cases allowing for ample copy space. This image can add visual impact for advertisements and editorial uses dealing with cloud computing issues. 

Street Signs, Symbols And "The Cloud"

Street signs make an excellent symbol for use in dealing with "The Cloud". The combination of clouds and signs offer a multitude of avenues for depicting aspects, positive and negative, of online computing. The use of a "curves ahead" sign in this photograph indicates that the path to success is not as simple and straight forward as it might appear, but rather requires a bit more navigation skills than most of us have unaided.  Such an image can be used by companies and businesses offering products and services to improve the online efficiency and experience. 

Connection, Networks And The Cloud

This is an image about networks, connection and the cloud. It is about using the latest technology on the way forward and into the future. The image is about all the advantages of "the cloud" from secure archiving to infinite access. It includes mobile devices, tablets, laptops and devices we haven't even thought of yet. The image warns of the challenges ahead in harnessing the new technology, but is overall an optimistic one. Though immediately overhead are dark storm clouds, once past them the sky is really the limit.
