It is said that by making wishes and blowing Dandelion seeds the wind will carry those wishes to their fulfillment. Dandelions, Hopes and Dreams

This young Black woman has the same universal hopes and dreams of all young women of her generation. As she prepares to blow the Dandelion seeds out on their journey, is she dreaming of a handsome young man, or a fulfilling career, or the health and welfare of her loved ones? We can tell by her optimistic expression that her wish is one of hopeful expectation; She does not seem to be in the angst of fear or the dullness of depression. This is a picture of love, of romance and of possibilities.
