How To Insure High Production Value In Funny Cat Photos

You might ask yourself how to insure high production value in funny cat photos? We did it by putting a lot of time and money into the photography. We built sets to the tune of $2,000.00 a piece. We hired professional cat "talent" and used professional animal trainers. We created a library of props. And we used a lot of Photoshop work in compositing the final images together. The series was created for a line of humorous greeting cards. We rolled the line out with sixty-four images and then continued to add to the line. The "hero" of our collection, Maude, is actually a male cat named Roswell. Roswell was selected to star in the series because of his good looks, his easy nature, and his incessantly vocal nature. Roswell meows...a lot! That was important since most of our images show Maude talking. So we had to photograph Roswell with his mouth open. Hence the importance of his vocalizing!
