This woman riding a lion stock photo has been crafted to be easily cropped to square, vertical or horizontal formats while allowing ample copy space for headlines and text. Having the lion captured in mid-leap adds action and drama to the image. The illusion of movement is further enhanced by the woman's hair and dress showing motion.

Lion images are an important part of our collection of animal stock photos. Our lion image collection began when I decided I wanted to have a lion in my studio...I thought it would be fun and creating stock photos with lions was the perfect excuse to rent a lion. I arranged to rent the lion, his name was safari, from Bow Wow Productions. Cost...$5,000.00. When I asked how long I would get for the money they replied  "As long as he wants".  That turned out to be about 45 minutes. But during those 45 minutes I managed to get a decent collection of lion photos...raw material for my lion stock photos for years to come.
