Horses Rearing

Two horses rear up on their hind legs in a dramatic image of conflict and competition. These horses can represent modern business competitors fighting over market share, governments in conflict over policies, politicians engaged in partisan politics or any number of other important issues and conflicts. The image is a clear and quick read, yet offers a great deal of versatility and flexibility depending on the headlines and text displayed in the ample copy space. This rearing horses image can be cropped easily to a vertical format for use as a magazine cover, or horizontally for a billboard or banner ad.

Horses, Competition And Conflict

Horses have long represented competiiton with horse racing being one of mankind's oldest sport, and have certainly played a key and pivotal role in most of mankind's historical conflicts. Without the element of man involved the conflicts become less deadly and more indicative of natural order. This makes this photo of two rearing horses ideal for use in advertising and promotions. The competition and conflict of two horses rearing up and fighting naturally draws in a viewer's attention compelling them to read any headlines and text.

White Horse Rearing

The fact that one of the horses in this image is white facilitates those who wish to have a clear "hero" or "good guy" in the image. It also appears that the white horse might have the upper hand as it is standing slightly taller than its competitor. Not only would this dramatic image make a great advertisement or editorial, but as a fine art print it can also stand its ground...so to speak!

Horses, Leadership And Conflict

These horses in conflict represent many of the qualities that lead people to success. For example, we quickly attribute nobility to horses, particularly when they are rearing up on their hind legs. Determination, perseverance and ferocity are also qualities exhibited by rear horses in competition for the herd. Leadership is yet another quality that comes to mind in viewing an image where a dominant leader is now being challenged for his or her position. The stronger horse will be the one that leads to the way forward.
